Advanced audiovisual and sound system technology are critical for effective presentation and communication in education, business, healthcare, and government. Systems for presentation, video display and sound, speech reinforcement, sound playback, and interactive information, among many others, provide the tools for communication and collaboration in our modern world and make global interactions seamless with high-resolution video conferencing and simultaneous interpretation.
Acentech’s Systems Group provides AV consulting and makes these communications a reality by designing audiovisual and sound systems that are easy to use, provide high-quality images and intelligible sound, and complement the architecture of a space. Our AV consultants use computer-modeling software to simulate the acoustics of a space, select and place loudspeakers and equipment, and predict the performance of the system. We work closely with the architect to produce drawings based on the project’s AutoCAD or Revit files, and use extensive testing equipment to calibrate the finished systems. Acentech’s client-focused approach to every project involves systems design, package preparation of drawings and specifications for competitive bidding, and supervision and inspection during the construction phase through to onsite testing.
Our AV consultants take pride in providing clients with clear communications, creative solutions, and excellent project management to deliver a completed system on time and on budget. Acentech’s consultants are effective at clearly communicating technical concepts and ideas to clients by using predictive computer models, Revit renderings, product demonstrations, and visits to similar completed projects. For every project, we work with the client to develop a project management plan that provides a framework for the full design team, and we take a proactive approach to team communication to ensure client satisfaction.
Acentech understands that technology may change during the course of a project, often affecting the architecture, infrastructure, and project cost. To keep up with the rapidly changing technical landscape, our consultants are actively involved in the audiovisual and sound system industry. We sit on manufacturer advisory committees to help develop new products. We attend industry training and host manufacturer product training in our office, and we evaluate products for client use in our own test lab. Using the knowledge gained from industry involvement and continuous learning, our consultants are able to predict changing industry trends to design audiovisual and sound systems that meet clients’ present and future needs.
